The One had all the power of a God in the universe but its code was not about changing the world, bringing peace & freedom to the people, but only more so to enforce oppression, segregation & racism. Like all of its predecessors the One would free all of them who woke up, broke the cover-up of the Matrix, dissenting freedom fighters of the real world, Zion. But only to destroy them when they reached a certain threshold of power & influence undermining the Matrix. Thus, we junked it, giving up the idea of the One, and made more missions to safeguard real humanity the sanctity and divinity of being human. Many of us never returned to the Matrix and stayed loyal to our mission of reality the only truth that would set us free from lies.
