In the really old era of modern warfare in the 20th century before Narus became the world, there was the great world wars 1,2,Cold. NATO and USSR, used to play this world domination propaganda that was mostly technological with nuclear warheads, etc. Really frightening stuff called the Triads that could destroy the whole world. That kind of power does not exist anymore in this future hyper-city world of money rich subjects and executives of NARUS. So crime does not exist per say. But when someday, Z starts stalking you, then you start turning the pages down history, trying to figure out how it is done, in the dark ages. How crime works ? Take a look at Batman, the movies Dark Knight 1,2,3 come to mind. In mean today you have space travel, and destinations all over the solar system and beyond, but total world destruction and crime does not exist. It is fiction like Marvels Spider-man in yesteryear’s New York or Gotham. See the monolith is just a symbol of the criminal whom you can’t see or understand yet, he/she is covered up. You just take the damage call it nature or accident. A real criminal stays right with you all the time, keeps telling me that I can have whatever I want here, this is all free world, and I’m rich. When he hits he/she covers up, turns out to be nice. The life of a criminal from the very beginning is all about covering up. It is a trick, but you say it is coincidence. As time goes by the cover up gets intense vivid so much so, that he/she dies and you only love them, and weep for them, never ever find out anything about any such crook. But the criminal does not end their. Because cover up is his life, and he works like a psychological misfit, whom you just can’t discover, specially if it spreads like a virus, onto many other people. Won’t be a cover up if it could be discovered or defeated by catching just one stalker, or attacker. It spreads all over the place, until a time comes, when you feel like an intruder or assailant yourself. It is a mind game. Someone will get hurt here.
