In this game you can’t defeat the bosses without making some sacrifice, or counter balance, and it should count. The Master and the Gate keeper are therefore related. Nobody wants to know about who is good or bad. Therefore interactions interplays are rife in this game preserve. We lose some we gain some, invariably the central character stays inside. Choices paths, only the Masters way here, or death. So most of the time the central character just has to take a load of bullshit from many bosses lose, or win then get ambushed, only later so that the Master can save the day.
It is a vicious cycle too, you can’t trust anyone, things happen here, that’s what it’s meant for. Sitting idle is a dead end. Everyone every other character is important worth remembering. For either it gives you information, or stays elusive and is known for keeping things from you.
